The stringed frame of this writing guide holds a standard 8 x 11 inch sheet of paper firmly against a wooden backboard. The paper cannot slip out, and the strings enable the user to keep his writing even while its slight give permits letters such as ‘g’ or ‘y’ to neatly dip below the line. A large bead on each string can be moved along the line to mark your place.
